Despite ranking #75 on the Central Scouting’s final rankings list in May, former Fairfield Prep star Colin Sullivan fell all the way to the Montreal Canadiens at #198.
On the flipside, Hotchkiss forward Petr Placek was selected with the 176th pick by the Philadelphia Flyers despite battling injuries for most of this year. Originally ranked as the #54 skater at the mid-term, his stock fell sharply during the second half of the 2010-2011 season. Regardless, Placek is expected to join Ted Donato’s squad this fall at Harvard University.
