CT Hockey Throwback Pic: 1986 Avon Old Farms Hockey

The 1985-1986 Avon Old Farms boy’s ice hockey team featuring Cheshire, CT native and NHL Hall of Famer Brian Leetch.

After playing for Cheshire High School, Leetch transferred to Avon Old Farms in 1984. During the 1985-1986 season Leetch led the Winged Beavers to a 22-0-1 record, collecting an astonishing 92 points and earning New England Player of the Year honors. In just two seasons at AOF, he collected 169 points – a record that still stands today.
