Bolton, Bouchard named to EJHL Select Team, Headed to Russia

Connecticut natives Jake Bolton (Ellington, Tri-Town, Westminster) and Tyler Bouchard (Glastonbury) have be chosen to participate in the 2011 Junior World Cup in Omsk, Russia as part of the EJHL Select Team. The tournament will take place from August 30th to September 3rd, with teams from Russia, Latvia and Slovakia all taking part.

  • Bolton, a 2009 All-State defenseman for Tri-Town, skated last season for Westminster, posting a 5-13-18 line in 25 games. He has committed to play hockey at Holy Cross in 2012.
  • Bouchard was a point-per-game player for Springfield this past season, notching 46 points (27-19-46) in 45 games. At Glastonbury High School, he earned honorable mention all state honors form the Hartford Courant in 2008.
