The Central Connecticut State University men’s hockey team is currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak. Along the way, the Blue Devils have outscored their opponents 25-9, with forwards Ryan Stanley (South Windsor – 8g, 7a) and Jon Knobloch (Notre Dame-West haven – 4g, 8a) leading the team in scoring.

Quinnipiac’s Yuri Bouharevich roofed a slapshot with 2.4 seconds left in regulation to lead Quinnipiac to a 3-2 win over RPI on Saturday. Here’s a video of the goal.

Wallingford native Ray Zeek (Sheehan, Pomfret) netted his first collegiate goal for Colby College in a loss to Salve Regina on 11/27. Zeek has two points in six games for the Mules, who are off to a 2-4-0 start this season.

Former Salisbury goaltender Andy Iles has five shutouts in his last six starts for Cornell University. His only loss during this stretch was 2-1 in OT against Boston University. For his efforts so far this season, Iles was named ECAC Goalie of the month for November.

Yale forward Kenny Agostino was named to the 2012 U.S. National Junior Team Preliminary Roster. (Iles was names as the “Emergency goaltender”)
