  • Former Fairfield Prep defenseman Colin Sullivan (Milford, CT) has 3 goals in 4 games for Avon Old Farms. Sullivan, slated to attend Yale University next fall, was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 7th round of the 2011 NHL Draft.
  • West Haven native Tim Baylis has 3 goals in 4 games played for Kimball Union. KUA is undefeated so far this year, outscoring opponents 33-8 along the way.
  • With 7 points overall (4g, 3a), BU hockey recruit Kevin Duane (New Canaan, CT) is tied for the team scoring lead at Brunswick School with Sean MacTavish (2-5-7), the son of former NY Ranger Craig MacTavish.
  • PG forward Jim Burt (Hamden) has 4 points (3g, 1a) in 3 games played for Trinity-Pawling, including the game-tying AND game winning goals in a 3-2 OT win against Loomis Chaffee on 12/3.
  • Charlie Zuccarini (Notre Dame-Fairfield) scored his first prep school goal for Trinity-Pawling – on a penalty shot, no less – against Albany Academy.

Alec Mansfield made over 30 saves in leading AA to a 5-3 win over TP Weds 12/7 at TP. Paul Amarone and Jim Burt scored goals for TP. Charlie Zuccarini scored on a Penalty Shot for TP.

Greg Harney (22 saves) was in net for TP.
