Defenseman Tom Freyre (New Canaan HS, Taft) netted his first collegiate goal in Middlebury’s 3-0 win over Skidmore.

Trinity College women’s ice hockey team nets 3 goals in the 3rd for comeback win over Southern Maine.

After rallying from a two goal deficit, the UConn men’s ice hockey team (NCAA D1) fell in OT No. 17 UMass Lowell in the final of the 19th annual Toyota UConn Hockey Classic. UConn defenseman Alex Gerke (Tomah, WI/Bismarck Bobcats) and forward Billy Latta (West Chester, PA/Chicago Steel) were named to the All-Tournament Team.

University of New Hampshire (ACHA) forward Shane Morin (West Hartford/Hall High School) scored as the ACHA D2 Selects defeated ERSC Ottobrunn in game one of their six game European tour. Morin and South Windsor native Ryan Stanley (Central Connecticut) were selected for the team in October.
