The Trinity College women’s ice hockey team is currently riding an eight-game unbeaten streak – including three consecutive shutouts from New Canaan, CT native Alexa Pujol.

Former Gunnery forward Terrence Wallin was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week after scoring 4 points (1g,3a) in three games for UMass-Lowell.

The Quinnipiac men’s hockey team will have had a twenty day layoff in advance of Friday’s match-up with Harvard. The Bobcats last game was a 7-1 win against Colgate on 1/14.

Avon Old Farms defenseman Colin Sullivan (Milford, CT) has officially de-committed from Yale University. Apparently, Yale had wanted him to play a year in the USHL before matriculating at Yale in the fall of 2013, while Sullivan and his family had wished for him to enroll this fall. (The rumor mill currently has Boston College and Notre Dame as the frontrunners for Sullivan’s services next season.)
