Yale Men Lose #1 Ranking

Yale HockeyAfter an 0-for-Upstate-New-York swing this past weekend, the Yale University men’s ice hockey team has fallen from the top spot in both of the major college hockey rankings. Previously #1 in both, the Bulldogs are currently #3 on USCHO.com and #2 in USA TODAY/USA Hockey.

The Bulldogs fell to Union College 3-2 on Friday night in Schenectady. RPI, behind 38 saves from goalie Allen York, sent the Yale men to their second consecutive loss 5-2 on Saturday.

Yale is back home this weekend, taking on arch rival Harvard on Friday and then returning to Ingalls on Saturday for a tilt against the Big Green from Dartmouth**. (2010-2011 Yale Men’s Hockey Schedule)
