Mark Arcobello (Fairfield Prep, Salisbury, Yale) netted his first AHL goal last Friday night against Abbotsford. He followed that up by scoring the game-winner in OT the next night.

Former Quinnipiac forward David Marshall is currently on his third tour of duty in the AHL this year, this time landing with the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins. Marshall had previously skated with the Rochester Americans (9 games) and Worcester Sharks (12 games), in addition to spending 27 games with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. While in Wheeling, he was reunited with former Quinnipiac teammate Dan Henningson.

After registering his first AHL win last week, Jared DeMichiel (Avon, Avon Old Farms) was sent back down to the ECHL by the Hershey Bears. The irony of it all was that Hershey was traveling to Rochester, NY where DeMichiel starred in college for the RIT Tigers.

12-year NHL veteran and Enfield, CT native Craig Janney had his number retired by the Enfield High School ice hockey team.
