Enfield native Robbie Baillargeon transfers to Arizona State

Robbie BaillargeonEnfield, CT native Robbie Baillargeon has left Boston University after three seasons and will transfer to Arizona State University, joining their D1 men’s ice hockey team for the 2016-2017 season.  Since he is transferring as a graduate student, he will not be required to sit a season and can immediately join the Sun Devils’ hockey program.

Baillargeon spent three seasons in Boston, earning a spot on the 2013-2014 Pro Ambitions Hockey East All-Rookie Team.  He finished his Terrier career with a 19-36-55 line through 101 games over three seasons.

One of the top pro prospects to come out of Connecticut in recent years, Baillargeon was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 5th round of the 2012 NHL Draft.
